I ONCE HAD A FRIEND NAMED GLENN is a performance that follows my journey sofa surfing in memory of a dear friend. I managed only two nights before it took a toll on my mental and physical health, however I did photograph every hour on the hour to show the deterioration. This process allowed me to connect with my friend Glenn and his personal struggles before his death. I kept a diary of my feelings of frustration and exhaustion throughout the night, which I later scribed onto the images themselves creating a diary-like outcome. I ONCE HAD A FRIEND NAMED GLENN gave me the opportunity to grieve the loss of Glenn and be with him one last time.
